Greetings in the name of the Lord in this season of Christmas!


Joseph displayed his true value after he had accomplished his dream and become the Prime Minister of Egypt at the age of 30. In this world, there are really many cases where one cannot carry out one’s task properly rather after achieving his/her dream.
It is important to be equipped and grow into the person of unshakable faith like Joseph before accomplishing one’s dream. Joseph is a character who became a leader as he overcame all the hatred, jealousy, misunderstanding, confusion, and hardship with the unshakable faith and dream.
Joseph is a character who did not lose or give up his dream in any circumstances, had the firm love for his fatherland, and knew who he was. Joseph led the life lifting up the name of God through his success after achieving his dream.

21st Century Joseph Movement is the vision of nurturing such young leaders blessed by God like Joseph. It is the spiritual revival movement for 1.5 and 2nd generation Korean youths & students, who cannot be but confused and swayed between Korean and American cultures, to firmly establish their values based on the word of God so that they can overcome the present reality and achieve their dream.

It is now time for the characters like Joseph to come out in the immigrant society of Koreans in the U.S.
Thus, I wish the leaders blessed by God, who will lead the Korean American immigrant society and Church, furthermore, the United States, Korea, and the World in the 21st century, to emerge.

성탄의 계절에 주님의 이름으로 인사합니다.


요셉은 30세 때 꿈을 이뤄 애굽의 총리가 된 후에야 그 진가가 발휘되는 것을 볼 수 있습니다.
세상에는 꿈을 이루고 난 뒤 오히려 일을 제대로 감당하지 못하는 경우가 정말 많습니다. 꿈을 이루기에 앞서 먼저 요셉과 같이 변치 않는 믿음의 사람으로 무장하고 성장하는 것이 중요합니다.
요셉은 변치 않는 믿음과 꿈을 가지고 미움도, 시기도, 오해도, 혼란도, 고난도 극복하며 지도자가 된 인물입니다.
요셉은 어떤 경우라도 꿈을 잃지 않고 포기하지 않고, 희생할 줄 알며, 조국관이 확실했고, 자기 자신이 누구인지를 아는 인물입니다. 요셉은 꿈을 이룬 후 그 성공을 통해 하나님의 이름을 높이는 삶을 살았습니다.

21 세기요셉운동은 이런 요셉과 같은 하나님의 축복 받은 청년지도자를 양육하는 비전입니다. 한국과 미국문화 사이에서 혼란스럽고 흔들릴 수 밖에 없는 한인 1.5세와 2세 학생?청년들에게 하나님의 말씀에 의한 가치관을 굳게 세워 현실을 극복하고 꿈을 이루도록 하는 영적부흥운동입니다.

이제 우리 민족의 이민사회에도 요셉 같은 인물들이 나와야 할 때입니다. 그래서 21세기 이민사회와 교회, 나아가 미국과 한국, 더 나아가 세계를 이끌어 나갈 하나님의 축복 받을 지도자들이 나오길 소원합니다.
